A little about me

I build software that real people use — mobile apps, websites, and the systems behind them. I've shipped apps on the App Store and Google Play, and I care about making things secure, reliable, and straightforward to maintain.

I also enjoy teaching. At Bellevue University I help students learn programming and work through real problems step by step. I'm working toward a master's in data science to keep growing in that direction.

03 // EXPERIENCE

Experience

A snapshot of roles where I've built apps, supported teams, and helped people learn along the way.

Full-Stack Software Engineer
Current role

Dec 2025 – Present
  • Built and launched YourOpoly, a community rewards app where people visit local businesses, earn points, and redeem deals — available on iPhone and Android.
  • Added thoughtful automation behind the scenes to help manage player activity and keep the experience running smoothly.
  • Moved the product from early prototypes to a stable cloud setup designed to grow as more regions and users come onboard.
  • Set up automated release pipelines so updates reach the app stores and servers with less manual work and fewer surprises.
  • Built the login and messaging layers so each organization's data stays separate and secure.

CIS Peer Tutor

Bellevue UniversityDec 2023 – April 2026
  • Helped students learn programming, database design, and how to approach software problems with confidence.
  • Reviewed student code with a focus on clarity, good habits, and practical design choices.
  • Created study guides and review materials used across several computer science courses.

Junior Web Developer / IT Support Specialist

Pierson WirelessOct 2022 – Nov 2023
  • Built internal business applications with modern web tools and a Microsoft-based stack.
  • Created a web tool that made quoting and cost estimates faster for the team.
  • Added safety reporting, hazard tracking, and a help desk system into the company website — tools the whole company ended up using daily.
  • Streamlined how new users were set up on company devices and helped keep workstations secure.
04 // PROJECTS

Projects

Apps and tools I've built — from public mobile products to internal systems teams rely on every day.

YourOpoly

Community rewards & local discovery

A mobile app that rewards people for visiting local businesses. Users explore a map, check in, earn points, and redeem deals — with leaderboards and promotions to keep things fun.

  • Built for both iPhone and Android and published on the major app stores.
  • Designed so each community or organization can run its own version without mixing data.
  • Includes sign-in options, live updates, and tools that help the team understand how the app is being used.

Multi-Product Admin Platform

One dashboard, multiple apps

A central admin site for managing two related products from one place — with different access levels for owners, staff, and everyday users.

  • Gives full administrators control over settings while letting app owners update their own content safely.
  • Keeps each product and tenant's information separated.
  • Lets owners update businesses, branding, timers, and mini-games without touching core systems.

E-Commerce Application

Online storefront

A modern online shop with fast page loads, secure card payments, and a cart that remembers what you added.

  • Smooth checkout flow with a polished browsing experience.

Django Reservation System

Booking & scheduling

A reservation app that prevents double-bookings and sends automatic confirmation emails.

  • Handles overlapping requests cleanly so two people can't book the same slot.
  • Updates the page dynamically without full reloads for a snappier feel.

Operational Efficiency & Support Suite

Internal tools for the field team

A set of internal tools for safety reporting, pricing estimates, and IT support — built for people who work outside a traditional office.

  • Let field staff report hazards from the job site in real time.
  • Helped the team generate quotes and manage service requests in one place.
  • Became part of daily operations across the company.

Multi-Tenant Task Board API

Shared boards with private data

A small task board API where each organization only sees its own data — the same isolation pattern used in larger production apps, rebuilt here as a clear example.

  • Keeps every team's tasks private so one group can't see another group's work.
  • Uses secure sign-in tokens so access rules follow the user through every request.
  • Automatically builds, tests, and deploys to Azure whenever code is pushed.
05 // METHODOLOGY

How I work

I focus on building software that lasts — solid structure first, then smart use of modern tools where they genuinely help. The goal is always something people can trust and teams can maintain.

  • Plan for growth from the start
  • Use automation thoughtfully
  • Let data inform decisions
System Diagnostics

Focused on dependable releases, clear architecture, and software that's easy to live with long term.
